We feel the most important attribute that characterizes Hawaii Web Group is Integrity.
Why is this so important to us?
Over the years, we’ve had to deal with webmasters that have been incredibly difficult, selfish and downright shady (See Website Hijacking.) It amuses us the way many webmasters treat their clients. Granted, We’re sure are some webmasters with good intentions out there, but we’ve met very view.
Full disclosure and 100% ownership
Our policy is to keep everything upfront. There will be no hidden costs, and you own everything that we build for you. That means when you want to take the project to a different Webmaster (for any reason), you will have 100% control of your site. Once we finish building your site, you get to keep all of the material, including the raw files used as building blocks for your site. We don’t want to toot our own horn, but you should know we do great work and take pride in it. You are an important part of our portfolio, and we don’t want to compromise that. BUT, if you did want to have another company take over, or work on a portion of the site, we won’t fight you for it. There’s plenty of work on this planet, so we’re not going to make things difficult.
Some webmasters will charge you for web design, and leave out the important point that promoting the site takes additional time and money after the fact. We let you know upfront what we can offer and how much it costs. Full disclosure is a key factor in our proposals. If you’re getting a lower price from someone else, you’re likely getting one or a combination of the following:
- A poor quality site and/or poorly handled web promotion.
- Not the entire truth. You may find some hidden costs down the line.
- A great deal! If you take the gamble, you may have landed an inexpensive great Webmaster. If this is the case, Good For YOU! Though, in our experience, this is very rare, and you’ll likely we spending twice as much moving it to another Webmaster to finish the project. We can’t tell you how many times we get clients come to us disheartened because they went with a bargain basement deal that ended up costing a lot more and delivering a poor product. We’d rather not have to deal with this. Time is money and money is money, so do it right the first time.
Trust
We work ethically and honestly. If you don’t trust us, you’ll feel the need to check up on our work and have regular discussions on whether we have your best interests at heart. When we start a project, we assume that we have your full trust. This way we don’t waste valuable time reassuring you, and instead we channel that effort towards building your traffic and search engine rank. Hawaii Web Group doesn’t need to constantly show you what we’re doing. The proof is in the pudding, and we want you to taste it sooner than later. Our clients in the past are all 100% happy and satisfied with our work. We will not let that percentage go down.
Our Shared Goal
Our common goal is to have your site in our portfolio. Why would this be your goal? Because if you’re in our portfolio it means your site is successful. The more pride we have in your site, the harder we’ll work for you and the more success you’ll enjoy over your competition. Once you’re a part of our portfolio, you become family. Once you’re family, you enjoy many benefits of cross-promotion from the many other noncompetitive businesses we market on the web. This is an extremely valuable asset.
